Beginner Level:
  • Introduction to Drums: Understanding the parts of a drum set, basic drumming techniques.
  • Basic Drumming Patterns: Learning basic rock and pop beats, simple snare and bass drum patterns.
  • Rhythm and Timing: Learning to play with a metronome and maintain steady tempo.
  • Basic Sticking: Introduction to proper grip and basic rudiments like single strokes, double strokes, and paradiddles.
  • Basic Coordination: Simple coordination between hands and feet.
Intermediate Level:
  • Advanced Rudiments: Learning more complex rudiments, including flam and drag rudiments.
  • Grooves and Fills: Developing more complex beats and learning to incorporate fills into a performance.
  • Snare and Bass Drum Coordination: More complex rhythms involving both hands and feet.
  • Rhythmic Independence: Practicing complex rhythms with hands and feet working independently.
